A specialized program designed to strengthen the capabilities of internal auditors in planning, conducting, and evaluating risk-based internal audit engagements. The program emphasizes linking audit outcomes to organizational governance, risk management, and compliance while applying the 2024 Global Internal Audit Standards issued by the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).

By the end of the program, participants will be able to:

• Develop a risk-based annual internal audit plan aligned with the organization’s enterprise risk assessment and governance priorities.
• Execute internal audit engagements effectively through evidence gathering, interviews, testing procedures, and comprehensive working paper documentation.
• Prepare high-quality audit reports that provide actionable recommendations and support informed management decision-making.
• Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and identify control deficiencies using the updated COSO Internal Control Framework.
